Hmmm food

Just had great home made sauce with oven baked potatoes. Get your pen ready and write this down:
Get small dipping bowl
Squeeze some mayonnaise then add honey and mix well.
Add small spoon of mustard (preferably wholegrain) mix and taste. If it's too sweet add bit more mustard.
For extra taste add raw squashed garlic.
Then just add to or dip you chips or potatoes and enjoy :-)

A thought.....

So many minutes passed with so many thoughts in their tails. It's easier to think while stood at the train station rather writing them down, typing word by word. The thoughts that should make it here, on this digital paper.\
What gets burned shall be re-wrote again.
Just a thought ...

Gave it some thought

Many time I am thinking about stuff I would like to write down in these pages but never find the time to do so.
Last Friday Christmas Market came to town once again. I love this time of the year. It is the market where people come around from whole Europe and share their food and handmade goods. It is the only time I feel  that a piece of my home is close to me. Every time I am there I must have hot punch, pancakes, sausage, french potatoes and roasted chestnuts. I might be cold (and wet from the typical rain) but the cup full of hot beverage is warming you up as well as the sprit in the air. That is an tradition for me. It is a place where all the Christmas smells comes together, where people are laughing, where people meet people they have not seen for some time as I do. It is a great excuse to make a date or have some fun with family. I could be there every day. All above us is Santa the Zippy as we call him, because he looks like a puppet with a zip instead of his mouth, who is keeping his blue eyes firmly on us.

I have a few images for you to show you that I have obtained from Google Image Search. Have a look at the Santa and enjoy! I may see you there by the pancake stand....

Day without a water

Today I have no water at home. So i came up with some tips that could be handy. Also please call your water supplier to check any works done around your area and then call your landlord/agency with the problem. Demand it to be sorted ASAP!!!!

Here are few tips I have learned today that I should know yesterday:

1. many of us have water purifying jug - make sure its always filled up on daily basis = drinking water
2. look in the kettle. Its usually filed with water (they say keep kettle empty as the water stone can occur but in this case it is "uffff thank god for that" situation) = drinking water
3. if you have plants at home keep few bottles filled up with water for watering = washing hands water
4. its good to keep a bottle of water on a side for the iron = u can use that water for washing hands
5. if you are not the person who is washing hair every day (you are save here if you do) be thankful for a dry-shampoo
6. if you cannot cook because you need a water then it is a perfect excuse to have lunch/dinner out or have a take-out
7. shower - unfortunately i didn't came up with anything here. If you have good neighbour, friends or family close by then you are safe. You can always call them for a favour.

Hope this was helpful.
Any tip from your side guys are welcome.

Talk soon and thank you for having me :-)

This could be the story......
